The Cinnamon Christmas Dream has been enchanting people who visit the region at the end of each year since 1988. Thousands of people spend the Christmas season in Canela marveling at the programs and decorations.
Many may think that the events and attractions of the Cinnamon Christmas Dream are very similar or even identical to those of the Natal Luz in Gramado.
But we're talking about a unique, family-oriented, playful event, full of visual effects and high technology, which commemorates the birth of Christ and seeks to revive generosity among people.
The Cinnamon Christmas Dream is responsible for influencing several people who have built their lives through or as a result of the event.
Considering that culture is a factor in the formation of the individual, the implementation of a high-level cultural program with free access for the public will continue to contribute to the development of the community.
And with a cascading effect, promoting tourism and strengthening the tourist attractions that Canela offers its visitors and its community.
The 35th Christmas Dream promises to bring a lot of joy to the streets of Canela and wonderful memories.
The event will feature a rich program, with 272 performances taking place throughout the event.

Christmas In Concert
A well-established event that harks back to the golden 50s, the show retains its elegant, classic big band trio of guitar, bass and drums, as well as keyboard and wind ensembles.
The novelty is that, in addition to the male vocalist, in the form of the crooner, and the backing choir, the vocal team will feature a female voice in the best style of the divas of that decade, exuding swing and charm on stage.
The event will take place on 10/12, 16/12 and 17/12 at 8.30pm at the Municipal Theater.
The Dream Factory
It's a sound and light show integrating the Christmas decorations with the lighting on the façade of the Stone Cathedral. For 12 minutes, a soundtrack punctuates the show.
Special effects in sync between the lights of the Christmas ornaments and the existing lighting on the façade of the Stone Cathedral transform one of Brazil's most visited landmarks into a spectacle of art, beauty and faith.
The show takes place daily at 8pm and 9pm in the Stone Cathedral.
The Herdsman, in the Eyes of his Mother
A performance inspired by the poem by Fernando Pessoa "The Herd Keeper", mixing music, narration and theater.
It's the story of a "beautiful, natural child who wipes her nose with her right arm and splashes in puddles", in which she refers to the Child Jesus seen through the eyes of his mother, symbolizing Mary.
The event takes place on 20/11, 26/11 and 29/12, at 8.30pm, at the Municipal Theater.
